Shop Time
Sunday, March 7th, 2004I’ve spent around 30 hours in the shop the past 4 days. What a great time. It’s so nice to disengage my right-brain and engage the left. I’m working on a wall mounted tool box loosely based on this design (click for a bigger picture).
Mine is made out of maple, birch, and walnut. It’s slightly narrower and only has 2 drawers. Lots of fun to build. It’ll be nice to not have to dig around to get at all my hand tools.
Speaking of tools, it’s amazing how much faster and more accurate my work is with the right tools. I’m slowly getting better tools and it’s a joy to work with them.
