I’ve noted here how my PalmPilot Personal (512kRAM) died a while back. I only just tossed it out. I’ve been looking for a new one since and have felt naked without my trusty leather belt pouch. Well, I mentioned it to my friend Jim Barnette at our supper club last night and he gave me his mint condition Handspring Visor Platinum! The guy made my week. He said that he never really used it and didn’t think he ever would. He said that he’s just glad it’s being put to use. With 8MB of Ram, this baby has 16x the storage of my old model, is lots faster, and has a protective screen on the cover, so hopefully I won’t break it this time.

Just filled the tank today. Put $23.50 of old dinosaurs in. Ouch! And it’s forecast to keep climbing. Invest in Exxon, I say.
